We know that trying out a new church can be stressful. What do I wear, how long is this service, what kind of music do they play, and am i expected to give money, are all common questions. We want coming to Gospel Cincinnati to be the highlight of your week, that being said we do not have a dress code either stated, or implied. We have some members who choose to wear business casual, but the majority will be dressed casually. Do not let what to wear become an issue for you, because it is not an issue for us.
A typical Sunday service at Gospel runs about one hour. As you enter the building, you can drop your kids off in either our kids blast area, or nursery depending on age. All of our volunteers have had a background check. As you enter the lobby you will see coffee and donuts are provided. Help yourself. Most of our people congregate in the lobby, or by the fireplace until right before service. Once service starts we will typically sing 4-5 songs that are a mixture of reworked hymns, or modern worship music. The offering plate will be passed as an opportunity for our members to worship through giving. If you are our guest, please just let the plate pass you, we want you to enjoy the service. After that, Pastor Dan, or Pastor Chris, or a guest speaker will give a relevant message from God's word that will last about half an hour. We will sing one final song and then we are dismissed. Stick around and meet some of our members, you are guaranteed to meet someone like you.
